Gestartet wird in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Steinfurter Schloss. Von dort aus geht es durch den „Französischen Garten“ ins Naherholungsgebiet Bagno-Buchenberg, größtenteils über befestigte Wald- und Landwirtschaftswege auf einen 14km-Rundkurs.
